You will learn four techniques to bring leads to your business using Facebook.

It is well known that Facebook is the second most trafficked site in the world.   That translates to an infinite amount of leads for your business.

You're thinking, "Sounds good but how do I acquire those leads?"   I am going to give you some basic Facebook marketing methods that work wonders for lead generation.

#1 The first mistake new and experienced marketers make is promoting their opportunity out in front.   You can tell who the new marketers are on Facebook. They will post endless promotions of their business opportunity.
Using the blasting method will alienate most people.

Everyday I receive friend requests and a good part of them tell me how I will become wealthy if I join their opportunity. I always decline a request with that kind of message.  I do not like being sold, Even though I am a marketer I don't want to be spammed, so why would anyone else. I know most folks feel the same way.  Facebook is a social site, so you first need to socialize. Get to know one another, develop a relationship and build trust.  Once that trust is established then the time to present your opportunity will present it self.   As I begin building trust with my contacts on Facebook the question of what I do for a living always comes up. That is the time when I discuss my business opportunity.  I bet your up line didn't train you to do this.  I'm sure you were told to talk to everyone about your awesome product and opportunity.   When you market off line that technique may work for you but it will not work on Facebook.

#2  Add some value to the social scene. This goes back to #1, instead of constantly posting your business opportunity 20 times a day, post some educational material or links to one of your blog posts.   Help other people to build their business on line by creating some useful content.  You will then to look like a leader and not look like a spammer.   I had to learn this the hard way.   I quickly learned that I wasn't getting anywhere by broadcasting my opportunity.  I then learned what Attraction Marketing was all about.   After studying Attraction Marketing I learned that if I help others fill their pockets then mine would fill up also. When the trust was established then I could talk about my opportunity.  I know this goes against traditional marketing but traditional marketing doesn't work in the on line arena.

#3  Narrow down who your prospects are.
If you are looking to build your mlm business using Facebook you will want to connect with other mlm people.  Why should you connect with other mlm people?   MLM is a tough business, you will find that 97% will drop out in the first year.  That is where your value comes in.   Show someone how to get leads for their business and you have already out shined their up line. Do you think that person you helped might want to listen to what you have to say.   When you show someone how to get what they want, guess who their new leader will be? YOU!  This means the more value you provide them the more they see you as a leader and will do whatever you want them to do. Primarily join YOUR opportunity!

#4  Many groups are put together in Facebook. Look for groups that are put together for different mlm companies.  You can find these groups by using the search function on Facebook. Search for mlm companies by name.   When you get to the group you want, click the "See all members" link.  In the new window you can see the members who are involved in that particular group. Select the "Add as a friend" option. A new window will open and look for the "Send a personal message" option. Select that option and a message box will open.  Write a little note and then send the message. You will see more people will respond if you send a note with the request. Especially if you looked at the intended friend's profile and make a comment about something in their profile.  It could be as simple as "Nice profile. I like to connect with like minded people. Want to exchange ideas on how to build our business? Have a great day!"   Never present your opportunity in the friend request.  I try to connect with 50 people a day using this method.

You have just discovered a 4 step program that has brought me daily leads from Facebook.

Please feel free to adopt these techniques in your on line marketing efforts.
